My two-year-old son, Greyson, was diagnosed with intussusception last October. AH took excellent care of us. From the ER, to the ambulance transport to Fargo, and follow-up appointments afterward, staff at the clinic went out of their way to call me and follow up with us to make sure both Greyson and myself were doing well. This was so appreciated as it was a very scary time as the mom to know there is something going on with your child who cannot TELL you what’s wrong. He was given a teddy bear and still sleeps with it to this day. Thank you AH for taking such great care of us!

I’m so grateful for the kindness and compassion showed to me when I found out I had a malignant tumor in my breast back in September of 2016. Dr. Kloss, the cancer care team, and the caregivers in radiology, etc., treated me with the utmost, respect, love, care and concern, which made having to go through that ordeal so much easier.

I was raised in the military, and you have your chain of command. Everybody’s doing their thing, even people that you don’t think of. Nobody thinks of the cook or the driver, but it all takes a team, and I found that here. I felt at ease, even though I was having trouble. I thought, ‘Wow, they know what they’re doing.’ That makes you feel so trusting because your life is in their hands. What they do is going to affect my life. I was in good hands.

When we became pregnant, it was important for us to find the right hospital for our family. From day one, I chose Astera and I’m so grateful that I did. The prenatal classes, the ReadyCare Clinic, and the convenience of doctoring local have all been a huge plus. But what stands out even more are the relationships I have developed at Astera. From the wonderful receptionists, to the compassionate nurses, PAs, and doctors, everyone makes me feel like we are truly special.

Dr. Robertson is just amazing. He won’t rush into the surgery. He tried everything he could to get the pain to go away. He’s always smiling. He always greets you by name. He never forgets who you are. He’s just so kind, patient. You’re so comfortable with him.
