What inspired you to get into medicine?
The sciences have always fascinated me and sparked my initial interest in medicine. As I progressed through school, I developed a passion for subject mastery and sharing that knowledge with others. Medicine offered me the opportunity of lifelong learning and the ability to teach while living and working in a rural community.
Why did you choose Astera Health?
Joining Astera Health offered flexibility and independence, which I value in my practice. It also provides the opportunity to serve a rural community.
What do you like to do in your downtime?
I like to spend time with family. I also enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, and reading.
