Background

Dr. Beth Jarrett was born in New Jersey but grew up in Rochester, MN. She and her husband have three adult sons, one grandson, and a dog. Dr. Jarrett joins Astera Health with over 20 years of experience in surgery and trauma.

What inspired you to get into medicine?

I started medical school with the intent to treat pediatric genetic disease but left enamored with the ability of surgery to not only cure disease but to give me an enjoyable hands-on experience in doing so.

Why did you choose Astera Health?

I’ve wanted to return to Minnesota for several years and found that Astera Health best suits my current interests.
