Ear, Nose, and Throat
Frequent sinus headaches, a persistent sore throat, or hearing loss affects not only how you feel, but also how you interact with the world around you. At the Astera Health Wadena Campus, our board-certified ear, nose, and throat specialists help patients from throughout Central Minnesota find relief from these issues and more.
What an ear, nose, and throat specialist does
Ear, nose, and throat conditions are common, but they affect each patient—and their quality of life—differently. Our specialists take a compassionate, personalized approach to care to help you meet your goals. Don’t let an ear, nose, or throat condition stop you from being your healthiest self. Together, we’ll find a treatment that allows you to enjoy a future with fewer symptoms.
Ear, nose, and throat problems are some of the most frequent reasons people see their family medicine provider. These providers, in turn, often refer patients to ear, nose, and throat specialists. Also known as ENTs or otolaryngologists, ear, nose, and throat specialists treat a wide range of conditions in both adults and children. They care for:
- Ears. Our specialists treat ear infections, hearing loss, and other conditions, helping to restore self-confidence, balance, and quality of life.
- Neck and head. Find treatment for head and neck cancers, thyroid disorders, and more.
- Nose. Let our specialists help you improve your breathing or sense of smell by treating conditions such as allergies and sinusitis.
- Throat. We treat throat tumors and disorders of the airway and vocal cords to improve your ability to speak or swallow.
Our ENT specialists are board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which signifies the highest level of training and skill.
